I've been puzzling this and been back to the manual & Workshop 5 a few times without understanding...

The manual says "CutoffPeriod gives the maximum detected period by highpass filtering the Data series". Yet when I run DominantPeriod (and in Workshop 5 as well) clearly periods greater than CutoffPeriod are returned - in fact, substantially greater - almost to the maximum of 60.

So, what exactly is meant by "the maximum detected period"?
