doom + huge amounts of gore? sounds appealing...
What this game does is it motivates me to try and create a shooter myself, a mixture between the first Turok, Doom 2, Metroid Prime and Superku (which means running on walls or the like).
Thought about that aswell (some multiplayer shooter in that style)... but I gave up since I hadn't (and still haven't) got enough experience, esp. with multiplayer programming
