It's a point and clicker, so you have to search for hotspots. There was a trailer released for this title, at GDC, since I created the post. It looks pretty nice.

A new Tex Murphy game was successfully Kickstarted a few months back, and it is 100% FMV and uses a lot of the same actors from the old titles. It's cheesy as all FMV are but the TM games have a following, so it's great that they get to see it continue.
