I found this software: nuiCapture Animate.

To me, it looks very promising.
It is affordable (400dollars) and you don`t need motion suits or a studio, only the Kinect.
And, which is for me very importend, it can track more then one person.

Since you can seemingly export the animated bones to fbx, you should able to use it with 3dgs (import the fbx datei).
Quote from the website:
Quote:
nuiCapture Animate is targeted towards the 3D animation and visual effects professional and enthusiast looking to collect high quality motion capture data at a low cost. Capture skeletal and facial motion data in real-time without the need of markers using Kinect sensors. From multiple sensors, you can also synchronously record depth, color, and audio data that is aligned with the motion data. Then export the motion data to popular file formats such as BVH and FBX. nuiCapture Animate also supports export of depth and color data to OpenEXR image sequences and AVI video files.

But before I go out and buy this, what other alternatives are there for affordable motion capturing, compatible with 3dgs?
And does "nuiCapture Animate" look trustworthy to you?

Thanks, Random.
