@Posion: Its not a waste of time if he is having fun while doing it. Because thats what counts most: Having fun with your hobby. And for most users here Gamestudio is "just" a hobby.
@rincewind: The latest screenshots look pretty good. However the skin of the gun shown in thoses pictures does not fit the style of the textures, because thoses look pretty "real-life" like.
