We could make it a multiplayer (LAN) co-op shooter, in the spirit of Doom (1993) and A4 templates. With old school textures and models.

Level design is tough and takes time though, so... it might need to have procedurally generated levels again (we could make it highscore based as well, as an infinite descend into acknex hell, getting increasingly difficult).
