first of all thanks
i like the trees as well...especially the first ones

i got a question regarding the mapping of the trunks:
The mapping is tiled several times on the wood (quite good and seamless) and the texture itself is tileable inside itself as well (not only at the borders). Combining both methods you can get very nice detail with very low texture sizes.
How did you paint the wood borderless in multiple quadrants (i assume par hand and drag and drop) and how did you map the uvw´s on it???
Some kind of checkerboard princip or some different color id blends??

any handmade method i know takes a lot of time so i would like to hear how you managed it?

thanks and cheers
