Hi Folks !

Were I live i can hardly make any photos from rocks or boulders to get some stone textures. On the net there are a handfull of (free) textures of different kind. I want textures as seen in the wonderful Skyrim mountains. So I tried to create some with some homebrew methods. I crumpeled two paper handkerchiefes and put them on my scanner and simply scanned them. After that I did some afterwork with the clone brush, >Contrast< and >add noise< in my paintprogram. You could of course use some other filters or tint the handkerchiefes before scanning.
