Why would you interrupt fair exchange? You get heaps of attention, and plenty of good advertising value for your "product", (Is it now complete? How many contest winners have received actual prizes?) and, in exchange, users get decent entertainment value. I claim that it is a fair trade, as I have found some of the posts in this thread to be somewhat amusing. Otherwise the thread may be somewhat senseless itself, and seems to welcome senseless responses. I suppose it's reasonable to try to rein in the direction of the thread to your interests, but given the nature of the thread itself, it may be futile to try to exclude the "senseless" or "spam" from a "useless" thread.
If even "fun" should have rules, perhaps there are instances where such rules should be relaxed.
